Gloves Not Guns is a youth boxing club in the Arkansas Delta, located in the city of Pine Bluff, with the goal of giving the youth in the area a positive alternative to gun violence and crime. Pine Bluff is a city that is known as one of the most dangerous cities not only in the state of Arkansas but in the entire United States and juvenile crime is a major contributor to that. I talked with founder Albert Brewer about the problems the youth faces in the city and wrote about it here.
